NO:EL Moves Forward Following Father’s Passing
NO:EL Shines On Stage After Tragic Loss
Rapper NO:EL, known offstage as Jang Yong-jun, shared moments of triumph with his fans as he successfully completed his concert on the 1st of this month.
The artist, grappling with personal sorrow, posted photos with his fans from the event, accompanied by the succinct message, “Let’s live well.” The images capture the electrifying atmosphere inside the venue, with fans filling every seat—a testament to NO:EL’s enduring appeal and stage charisma.
#### A Difficult Time for NO:EL
NO:EL’s public appearance follows the tragic death of his father, former assemblyman Jang Je-won, who was found deceased in an officetel in Gangdong District, Seoul on the night of March 31st.
Jang Je-won, who once served as a vice-president at a university in Busan, had been accused earlier this year of a crime dating back to November 2015. This accusation led to much public attention and a planned press conference, which was ultimately canceled due to his unexpected death.
In the wake of his father’s passing, NO:EL played the role of the grieving son, wearing his mourning band at the funeral service prepared at Busan Haeundae Hospital. Jang’s remains were interred at Busan Siloam Memorial Park.
