Rapper Lee Young-ji Takes a Break from All Schedules Due to Health Concerns

Korean rapper and TV personality Lee Young-ji, best known for winning High School Rapper 3 and making history as the first female winner of Show Me the Money, has recently canceled all her upcoming schedules due to a health scare.

On June 20, Lee took to her official social media to share, “I haven’t been this sick in a long time. I’ve canceled all my appointments and taken several days off just to rest.” She continued, “Every time I feel slightly better, I get sick again. It’s driving me crazy. What is going on with my body?”

Alongside this message, she posted a photo of herself receiving IV fluids, which alarmed her fans and confirmed the seriousness of her condition. Just a few days earlier, on June 17, she had also posted a photo from bed with the caption: “Stay safe from colds, everyone. I feel like I’m dying here.”

Fans from around the world quickly responded with messages of concern and support, commenting, “It sounds like your immune system is really drained. Get lots of rest,” and “Always cheering for you, Lee Young-ji!”

Despite her current situation, Lee Young-ji is scheduled to appear on the upcoming season of the tvN variety show Earth Arcade Season 3, which is set to premiere on June 25. Known for her wit and charisma, Lee has steadily expanded her role in the entertainment world beyond music.

Born in 2002, Lee has already made a significant mark in the Korean entertainment industry, and fans are hopeful she makes a full recovery soon.
