QWER Amplifies Anticipation with New EP ‘I’m On Your Side, Even If The Whole World Is In Discord’

South Korea’s genre-blending girl band QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Lee Siyeon) has officially entered comeback mode, revealing the full tracklist for their third mini album ‘I’m On Your Side, Even If The Whole World Is In Discord’ via their official social media channels on May 23.

The highly anticipated album comprises six tracks, including the evocative title song ‘Holding Back Tears’, as well as ‘Be Happy’, ‘Search Keyword is QWER’, ‘OVERDRIVE’, ‘D-Day’, and fan-penned track ‘Yours Sincerely’. The announcement was complemented by a heartwarming tracklist image styled in a playful ‘Diary Decoration’ (Da-kku) concept featuring decorative heart-shaped stickers, invoking a sense of nostalgia and intimacy.

What distinguishes this release is the remarkable creative input from all four members. Each of them has contributed to the songwriting and production credits, reflecting the band’s growing artistic evolution. Notably, the members were deeply involved in crafting the lyrics for ‘Holding Back Tears’ and took part in the songwriting and composition of ‘Yours Sincerely’, showcasing a maturity beyond their years.

‘I’m On Your Side, Even If The Whole World Is In Discord’ serves as a thematic continuation of QWER’s debut mini album ‘Harmony from Discord’, stitching together heartfelt stories of growth and friendship into a cohesive musical narrative. As they move forward, QWER reaffirms their unwavering bond and promising future through this emotionally resonant collection.

The EP is scheduled for release on June 9 at 6 PM KST across major streaming platforms.
