Park Bo-young Takes on Four Roles in tvN’s New Drama ‘Seoul’s Secrets’

Actress Park Bo-young plays four faces in tvN drama Seoul’s Secrets premiering June 24 on tvN

Set to premiere on June 24 at 9:20 PM KST, tvN’s upcoming weekend drama ‘Seoul’s Secrets’ centers on a heartwarming tale of self-discovery, identity, and emotional healing. The series features Park Bo-young in her most ambitious role yet—playing four different versions of twin sisters who swap lives in a desperate attempt to escape the constraints of their own realities.

Written by Lee Kang, best known for Youth of May, the script promises to deliver a poignant and relatable narrative set against the backdrop of generational and geographical divides. Director Park Shin-woo, known for his uniquely artistic storytelling, adds visual depth to the emotionally intelligent plotline.

Park Bo-young transforms remarkably as both Yoo Mirae and Yoo Miji—identical twins leading drastically different lives. Mirae, living in Seoul, is on the brink of emotional collapse due to the harsh demands of city life. Meanwhile, Miji, who remains in the rural village of Dusan-ri with no stable job, decides to help her sister by proposing a secret life swap.

This exchange of identities lays the foundation for four distinct personas: Miji, Mirae, Miji-as-Mirae, and Mirae-as-Miji. It’s a career milestone for Park Bo-young, marking her first time portraying four characters in a single series—a move that has audiences and critics eagerly anticipating her performance.

Also starring in pivotal roles are Ryu Kyungsoo as Han Se-jin, a clumsy strawberry farmer with a mysterious past, and Park Jin-young, who plays Lee Ho-soo, a former high school classmate entangled in the twins’ secret arrangement. Each character’s unique storyline intertwines, forming bonds that surpass misunderstandings and emotional barriers.

As the drama flips between Seoul and the serene countryside, viewers are invited into an emotional journey filled with not only romance and drama but also healing and mutual understanding. The chemistry between the leads promises both swoon-worthy moments and tearful revelations.

‘Seoul’s Secrets’ isn’t just a story about mistaken identities—it’s a mirror held up to the struggles of youth, family, and personal authenticity. The series premieres June 24 on tvN.
