Park Bo-young Reunites with a Familiar Soul in tvN’s New Drama ‘Our Unwritten Seoul’

Teaser for Our Unwritten Seoul shows Park Bo young meeting Park Jin young again in tvN drama

South Korean actress Park Bo-young is set to captivate audiences once again in the upcoming tvN weekend drama, Our Unwritten Seoul, premiering on June 24 at 9:20 PM (KST). The newly released teaser video offers a heartfelt glimpse into the emotionally layered reunion between two childhood friends, Yoo Mi-Ji and Lee Ho-Su, played by Park Bo-young and Park Jin-young respectively.

In the scenic village of Doseon-ri, the two reconnect after years of distance. What begins as an awkward meet-up reveals layers of unspoken affection, emotional scars, and transformative introspection that set the tone for this healing drama. The story highlights how their bond, once filled with shared secrets and silent sorrows, begins to mend as adults—with subtle gestures, glances, and long-lost empathy.

Lee Ho-Su’s warm yet slightly nervous greeting, “How have you been?” contrasts with Yoo Mi-Ji’s blank expression, though her inner narration betrays her stoic demeanor, admitting that her heart began to race. Though Yoo Mi-Ji describes herself as “useless and unremarkable,” it’s Ho-Su who sees through her veil of doubt, sincerely complimenting her ability to touch people’s hearts—words that visibly surprise her.

One of the teaser’s standout lines—“Every time my life feels too quiet, you barge right in”—foreshadows the emotional ripple that Ho-Su’s return causes in Mi-Ji’s otherwise isolated existence. The show’s tagline, “The only person who truly sees me,” eloquently captures their reconnection, promising a narrative filled with comfort, rediscovery, and emotional growth.

Our Unwritten Seoul brings an introspective look at adulthood, emotional wounds, and the power of recognition through the eyes of two characters who become each other’s anchors. Viewers can expect a gentle, soulful experience that portrays the quiet magic of rekindling human connection—in a city as boundless as Seoul itself.

The series premieres June 24, only on tvN.
