P1Harmony’s DUH! Promotions Take Global Fans by Storm
South Korean K-pop group P1Harmony is creating buzz with their unique approach to album promotion, captivating fans both domestically and internationally. Following the release of their eighth mini album ‘DUH!’ on June 8, the group launched a series of promotional events that showcase their creativity and dedication to fan interaction.
Preceding the release, P1Harmony hosted the P1Harmony X DFN FLEA MARKET <Strike Sale> Event on June 6, where fans were invited to purchase exclusive items, including personal belongings and handmade keyrings crafted by the members themselves. With a tongue-in-cheek concept themed ‘All items on sale due to heroes on strike,’ the event aligned cleverly with the album’s storyline, adding a layer of immersion for fans. The flea market sold out immediately upon reservation opening, reflecting massive interest and enthusiasm.
Internationally, P1Harmony extended their reach through pop-up stores in 11 U.S. cities—such as Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago—as well as Berlin, Germany. These global activations offered merchandise and immersive spaces that deepened connections with international fans.
In South Korea, a pop-up installation is currently underway at PHOTOISM PLAY in Mangwon-dong, Seoul, running until June 17. The space invites fans to experience themed exhibits, shop limited merchandise, and explore the universe of DUH! through interactive activities.
Adding an artistic flair, P1Harmony collaborated with popular illustrator 피곤한덤덤 to create character-based short webtoons and custom apparel. They also gifted fans a creative ‘Home Protect DUH!’ kit, including string bags, sleepwear, sleep masks, towels, and air fresheners, all themed around the album’s storytelling. Furthermore, the group continued digital engagement by releasing themed KakaoTalk messenger templates.
Upon the album’s release, P1Harmony achieved immediate success on major charts, clinching the No.1 spot on the Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart for physical and retail album sales respectively. Globally, they reached No.1 on the K-POP Album Chart on iTunes across five regions: the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, New Zealand, and Japan.
With a successful comeback under their belt, P1Harmony is poised to continue connecting with fans through both on-ground and digital activations, reinforcing their expanding global footprint.
