ONEUS Channels Retro Vibes with Breezy Japanese Digital Single ‘Time Machine’
South Korean boy group ONEUS is showing a new side of their artistry with the release of their Japanese digital single, ‘Time Machine‘. Dropped on various digital music platforms on April 30, the track marks a vibrant departure from the group’s signature powerful performances.
‘Time Machine’ dives into the synth-pop genre, built around rhythmic guitar and bass. This time, ONEUS expresses a breezier, lighter charm that evokes a sense of nostalgia while also conveying a dream of new beginnings — as if aboard a real time machine. The infectious melody effortlessly blends mystery and lighthearted groove, transporting listeners to happier, shared moments of the past.
Adding a deep layer of authenticity, the group’s members were directly involved in the creative process. Leedo led the effort as a producer, songwriter, and composer, while Hwanwoong made notable contributions in both songwriting and choreography. The track also features support from the longtime collaborator Cocodububappa, boosting the song’s overall completeness and musicality.
The release is part of a broader plan to connect with international fans. ONEUS will hold the 2025 ONEUS FAN CONCERT ‘Between the Earth and the Moon Pt.3’ in JAPAN, taking place in Tokyo on May 3–4 and in Osaka on May 6. The fan concert promises an intimate and memorable experience with local audiences.
In parallel with their group activities, ONEUS continues to expand their reach in both Korea and Japan. Individually, the members have launched solo projects, revealing their unique charms and stirring enthusiasm among fans worldwide. Through both solo and group ventures, ONEUS proves their ongoing evolution and musical versatility.
