ONE: High School Heroes Debuts Thrilling Teaser for Wavve’s 2025 Flagship Drama
Wavve has dropped the first teaser trailer for its highly anticipated 2025 original series, ONE: High School Heroes, capturing global attention with its bold premise and stylized high school action.
Adapted from the popular webtoon ONE—which amassed over 65 million views—this drama tells the explosive story of Ui-gyeom, a top student who battles suffocating expectations from his father, and Yoon-gi, a cunning peer who sees untapped potential in Ui-gyeom’s hidden fighting talents. Together, donning pink masks, they form the masked vigilante duo known as the High School Heroes to dismantle the brutal school violence hierarchy.
The teaser reveals Ui-gyeom (played by Lee Jungha) as he transfers to a new school and begins to awaken the combat instincts he has long suppressed. As his inner rage surfaces, the story pivots into a gritty yet stylish battleground for justice.
Yoon-gi (played by Kim Do-wan) draws Ui-gyeom into his plans, and soon, the pair takes down bullies one by one. A chilling moment shows Ui-gyeom standing in a blood-stained hallway declaring, “The problem is, there are just too many bad guys in the world,” stoking anticipation for the moral gray zones they’ll navigate.
Viewers are also introduced to Geol-jae (played by Yuk Jun-seo), a cold, enigmatic character whose calculated brutality and toughness amplify the high-stakes tension. As these characters collide, the teaser promises a series charged with kinetic action and emotional grit.
ONE: High School Heroes marks Wavve’s first original series of 2025, following its mega-hit Weak Hero Class 1. With a blend of revenge, vigilante justice, and high school turmoil, this new K-drama is set to dominate spring streaming.
The series will premiere exclusively on Wavve in May 2025.
