O Jung-se Unleashes a Chilling Villain in JTBC’s New Drama ‘Good Boy’

Korean actor O Jungse transforms into a chilling villain in the new drama Good Boy airing globally

Veteran actor O Jung-se is set to deliver a career-defining performance in Joongang Tongyang Broadcasting Company’s upcoming weekend drama ‘Good Boy’. Premiering on May 31 at 10:40 PM KST, the series introduces viewers to a gripping and unsettling antagonist with frightening realism.

O Jung-se takes on the role of Min-ju-young, a seemingly inconspicuous customs officer who secretly wields immense power in Inseong City. Rather than portraying a hyper-stylized villain, O aims to depict what he calls the “banality of evil,” bringing terrifying subtlety and precision to his performance.

The character Min-ju-young stands in stark contrast to Yoon Dong-ju, played by Park Bo-gum, a fiercely principled police officer recruited through a special program. Their ideological and emotional clash will be one of the most compelling dynamics in the show, with O Jung-se pushing the cruelty of his character to new levels.

‘Good Boy’ is an action-packed comic crime drama that follows a team of specially recruited police officers as they rebel against a corrupt system. Directed by Sim Na-yeon and written by Lee Dae-il, the series is expected to blend intense action with meaningful character development.

Airing on Joongang Tongyang Broadcasting Company and available globally via Amazon Prime Video, ‘Good Boy’ promises to be one of the most talked-about drama debuts this summer.
