NMIXX Ignites iHeartRadio Wango Tango with an Explosive Opening Performance
NMIXX, the powerhouse K-pop girl group, set the stage alight with their electrifying opening performance at the 2025 iHeartRadio Wango Tango held in Huntington City Beach, California, on June 10.
The annual music festival, hosted by American radio giant iHeartRadio, boasted an A-list lineup this year, featuring global pop icons including Doja Cat, Meghan Trainor, Gwen Stefani, and David Guetta. Making waves among these music superstars, NMIXX became the latest K-pop addition to grace the festival, following in the footsteps of legends like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.
Opening the festival with high energy, NMIXX delivered reimagined, band-arranged versions of their hit tracks such as “DASH”, “Run for Roses”, and “See that?”, earning wild cheers from the packed crowd. They followed with a vibrant medley of “DICE”, “Love Me Like This”, and the emotionally charged “Sonar (Breaker)”, pushing the concert atmosphere to a fever pitch.
Known for their “hexagonal skills,” a term affectionately used by fans to describe their all-rounded excellence in vocals, dance, and visuals, NMIXX continues to gain international recognition through stellar performances that transcend language and borders.
The performance comes on the heels of their latest mini album, “Fe3O4: FORWARD”, released March 17. The album has been praised for showcasing NMIXX’s expansive musical spectrum, further cementing their reputation as one of K-pop’s most versatile acts.
Currently, NMIXX is in the midst of their second fan concert tour, “NMIXX 2ND FAN CONCERT ‘NMIXX CHANGE UP : MIXX LAB’”. The tour, which launched in Seoul in October, spans 20 shows across 12 international cities. Following successful concerts in Manila and Bangkok, the group will soon perform in Tokyo (May 31 – June 1), Melbourne (June 6), Sydney (June 8), and Macao (June 28), continuing their global momentum.
As NMIXX steadily climbs the ranks of global stardom, their Wango Tango performance marks a significant milestone in their U.S. debut and sets the tone for even greater breakthroughs in the worldwide music scene.
