NewJeans’ Danielle Pens Touching Letter to Fans Amid Legal Dispute

NewJeans member Danielle thanks Bunnies and discusses NJZs future during group hiatus

Danielle, a member of the K-pop group NewJeans (now promoting under the name NJZ), shared a heartfelt letter to fans via the group’s joint Instagram account on the 30th. The post began warmly with, “Hi Bunnies! It’s Danielle~ How have you been?”

She continued, “I missed you all so much that I felt the need to write you a letter and share my thoughts. I’ve finally finished reading all of your birthday letters, every single one without skipping a line.”

Danielle admitted that she never imagined receiving such a large number of letters and felt spiritually healed by the sincerity in every word. “Each and every letter from you reached my soul. I truly felt more comforted every time I read them.”

Amid recent public disputes, she subtly referenced the group’s struggles, stating, “Please don’t forget that our Bunnies are truly special and amazing individuals. Remember, we’re not alone. I sincerely hope we continue to be each other’s support whenever needed.”

NewJeans, managed under ADOR, has been in a legal battle concerning exclusive contracts and promotional rights. Last November, the group held an emergency press conference, announcing the termination of their contract with ADOR and revealing their new name, NJZ, as a declaration of independent activities.

ADOR later filed a court injunction to restrict the members’ independent activities and marketing opportunities. Though the court initially accepted the application, the members’ objection was overruled. They have announced that they will continue with a main legal case and have officially paused group activities, stating their return to ADOR is no longer an option.

Danielle closed her letter with an emotional tribute: “I don’t know if words can fully express how thankful I am, but because of Bunnies, I’ll try to live gratefully and happily every single day. Thank you for being my strength during the hardest times, for always shining light at the end of the tunnel, and most of all, for believing in me and the members of NJZ.”
