New Reality Romance Show ‘Meet Me Now’ Launches with Exotic Travel and Heart-Fluttering Moments

Romantic travel reality show Meet Me Now debuts on Channel S with Yoo Inna and Kang Seungyoon

The new Channel S variety program ‘Meet Me Now’ (original title: ‘우리지금만나’), produced by SK Broadband, premiered on July 1 at 9:20 p.m. This travel reality show introduces romantic chemistry between travel mates and foreign friends as they embark on unique journeys abroad.

Following its award-winning success with ‘Where Next?’ (original title: ‘다시갈지도’) at the 2024 Cable TV Awards, the production team delivers another travel-infused show that blends exploration with flirtation, setting high expectations from audiences. The premiere features main host Yoo In-na, special guest Kang Seung-yoon, and two rising reality stars: Kim Gwang-tae from Transit Love 3 and Kim Ji-min from Heart Signal 4.

Kim Gwang-tae travels through Taipei with Taiwanese foreign friend “Saisen,” where a flirty joke about garlic sausage—”You can’t kiss after eating this”—is met with a bold reply, “Then we should both eat it.” Meanwhile, Kim Ji-min embarks on a romantic path in Bali with Dutch actor “Ash,” bringing emotional highs and romantic vistas alive on screen.

Kang Seung-yoon, after completing military service, returns to variety TV expressing his connection with Kim Ji-min, whom he observed closely during his time as a Heart Signal 4 panelist. His comment, “My seniors kept asking if she’d be my final choice, and I desperately answered, ‘I wish I knew!,'” provides a mix of humor and sincerity.

MC Yoo In-na shared, “There’s something magical about two strangers gradually opening their hearts in unfamiliar lands,” emphasizing the emotional depth of the program. She revealed that watching the travel mates light up while recalling their journeys left her smiling and gave her an itch to travel spontaneously herself.

The first episode highlights Gen Z hot spots in Taipei and must-try local food recs, as well as unforgettable experiences in Bali—including paragliding and a breathtaking sunrise date. Strong physical chemistry and sweet flirting scenes fuel romantic excitement among viewers.

As new episodes roll out, notable creators like Heo Seong-beom (of Blood Game 3 and Campus War) and travel vlogger Chomade, with over 760k subscribers, are set for appearances. Chomade’s travel special in Dubai, where she enjoys significant Middle Eastern popularity, is highly anticipated.

‘Meet Me Now’ airs every Monday at 9:20 p.m. and can be watched on Channel S through B tv (Channel 01), KT Genie TV (Channel 44), and LG U+TV (Channel 61).
