Netflix Unveils Mystery Horror Series Starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Min-si and Kim Min-ha
Netflix has officially announced the production of a new Korean original mystery horror fantasy series titled Honey Sweet Job, featuring top-tier actors Lee Jae-wook, Go Min-si, and Kim Min-ha. The series, unveiled on May 29, is drawing buzz for its haunting premise and talented production team.
Set against the eerie backdrop of a shady job agency that offers unbelievably high hourly wages—up to 50 times the norm—Honey Sweet Job follows a young man who finds himself entering dark and dangerous labor sites without knowing what horrors await. As he fights to clear his debts through these risky jobs, he confronts the mysterious and the terrifying.
Lee Jae-wook takes on the role of Hyuk-joon, a desperate man lured by the promise of fast cash while unknowingly walking into a nightmare. Go Min-si stars as Yeon-joo, a workplace accident investigator determined to uncover the truth behind the agency’s dark secrets. Kim Min-ha plays Ji-yoon, Hyuk-joon’s younger sister, adding emotional depth to the storyline.
The enigmatic man who repeatedly tempts Hyuk-joon with can’t-refuse job offers is portrayed by seasoned actor Lee Hee-jun. Directing the series is Kim Da-min, known for their previous writing work on Netflix’s D.P.-related project, while the script comes from Shin Ji Lee, who penned the critically acclaimed film Concrete Utopia.
Adding to its powerful lineup, director Han Jun-hee, celebrated for Netflix’s hit series D.P., joins as executive producer, raising expectations that the show will deliver a thought-provoking and thrilling experience.
Honey Sweet Job is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s most anticipated Korean thriller dramas of the year, blending social critique, horror, and fantasy in a uniquely unsettling package.
