NCT’s Doyoung Delivers Deep Solace with New Track ‘Still’

NCTs Doyoung collaborates with Yoon Dohyun to deliver heartfelt song Still in new album

NCT’s Doyoung is back with a heartfelt track that whispers gentle solace into a turbulent world. ‘Still’, a song from his upcoming second solo album Soar, unveils a tranquil journey of self-discovery for those lost between reality and dreams.

Composed and written by Korean rock legend Yoon Do-hyun, ‘Still’ resonates with somber piano melodies, resonant string arrangements, and a modern band vibe—all hallmarks of an emotional pop rock piece. Doyoung’s evocative vocals breathe life into the lyrics, making the single a warm embrace for anyone navigating uncertainty.

I wrote ‘Still’ during a time when I desperately wanted inner peace, but my mind was in turmoil. Music has always been a source of strength to me, and I thought this song would truly shine if Doyoung sang it,” Yoon Do-hyun shared in the behind-the-scenes release titled Soar Diary – page. 1. The clip, revealed on the official NCT YouTube channel, showcases the artistic synergy between the two during their studio sessions, offering fans candid insight into the collaborative process.

Yoon further praised Doyoung’s nuanced portrayal of solitude in the track, saying, “He captured the loneliness beautifully. With his hardworking nature and completed artistry, Doyoung is destined for a long, impactful career.”

Doyoung’s full album Soar, set to release on June 9, includes 10 tracks including the title song Hello, Universe (Memory). Through this album, Doyoung aspires to offer listeners the same solace and empowerment he once drew from music, inspiring dreamers around the world.
