Kpop group NCT WISH dominates April Circle Chart with their mini album poppop

Rising K-Pop sensation NCT WISH has taken the music industry by storm, securing the top position on multiple major April charts with their second mini-album ‘poppop’, released on April 14. The group clinched two crowns on the April Monthly Album and Retail Album charts published by Circle Chart on May 8, further solidifying their unstoppable ascent in the K-Pop scene.

This impressive feat extends beyond Circle Chart. NCT WISH also dominated the Hanteo Chart, Hot Tracks, and Yes24, sweeping daily, weekly, and monthly domestic album charts throughout April. Their ‘poppop’ craze is not just a trend—it’s a phenomenon shaking up Korea’s music landscape.

Marking a career high, the EP propelled NCT WISH to ‘million-seller’ status for the first time since debut. The group’s accomplishments include triple crowns on weekly music shows, a #1 spot on Apple Music Korea‘s Top 100, two consecutive weeks at #1 on QQ Music‘s K-Pop weekly chart, over 500,000 comments in a QQ Music chat event, #1 on AWA‘s real-time rising chart in Japan, and trending at #1 on YouTube Japan and #2 on YouTube Korea’s Top Music list.

The six-track album captures the innocence and freshness of first love, elevated by lively beats, whimsical lyrics, and the sparkling energy of its six members. ‘poppop’ cements NCT WISH’s signature style—vibrant, youthful, and filled with charm.

Fans can anticipate even more from the group as they unveil their first-ever photo exhibition, NCT WISH The 1st Photo Exhibition [One Summer Wish], set to be held from May 15 to June 1 in Itaewon, Seoul. Located at 37, Itaewon-ro 49-gil, Yongsan-gu, the exhibit promises a deeper look into the group’s journey and fresh visuals celebrating their euphoric rise to fame.

NCT WISH continues to write a new chapter in K-Pop history, one chart at a time.
