n.SSign Brings Fresh Energy and Humor to Variety Show with Super Junior Members
Rising K-pop boy group n.SSign is further cementing their status as the next global idol sensation after their delightful appearance on YouTube variety show ‘Come Over Here 2’, hosted by Super Junior‘s Donghae and Eunhyuk.
On June 5th, n.SSign’s Kazuta, Hanjun, and Sungyun joined the show for a special guest appearance packed with laughter, energy, and a showcase of their unique talents. The members arrived with enthusiasm, immediately grabbing the attention of the veteran MCs.
In the first segment, the trio demonstrated personal talents that had both fans and hosts laughing. Kazuta, a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, flawlessly identified four different coffee brands in a blind test. Hanjun amazed viewers with a quirky tongue trick, forming an ‘M’ shape, while Sungyun boldly attempted an impersonation of celebrated singer Seung Hwan Lee.
The second chapter featured live reaction content, highlighting the group’s entertaining expressions. “n.SSign is the king of reactions,” Kazuta declared confidently. Donghae and Eunhyuk praised the trio’s playful and exaggerated reactions. Eunhyuk jokingly labeled Sungyun as the “only fake reactor,” to which a cool-headed Sungyun snapped back, “Even fake reactions have their value.”
Finally, the ‘Heart-to-Heart’ talk session revealed more personal and heartfelt moments. Hanjun recalled seeking advice from their agency’s vice president—formerly Super Junior’s manager—after struggling with their demanding arena debut schedule. He shared, “I confessed how hard it was, and the VP said, ‘Super Junior had it worse. That’s nothing.’ I felt both deep respect and a little resentment.”
This lighthearted confession led Donghae and Eunhyuk to tease Hanjun as having a ‘weak mentality,’ reinforcing their warm, sunbae-hoobae bond. A standout moment came from Sungyun, who recounted a strange “kissing ghost” superstition during trainee days, which ended up bonding the members and possibly bringing them good luck during performances.
In the end, Sungyun’s ghost story won the ‘Best Childhood Heart’ segment, concluding the episode on a light and humorous note. The trio expressed their gratitude for the experience, promising to return with even better content. “It’s an honor to spend time with legendary seniors. We’ll come back prepared with more talents and stories,” said Kazuta.
n.SSign continues to skyrocket in popularity, recently achieving their first-ever #1 on a music program with the title track ‘Love Potion (Daydream)’ from their third mini-album Love Potion. After wrapping up their first solo concert in Korea and a fan meeting in Taiwan, the group is now preparing for their first U.S. fan meet tour, 2025 n.SSign Fan Meet Tour in the U.S., set to launch this June.
