Monsta X’s Shownu and Joohoney Embark on Turkish Culinary Adventure with Chef Lee Yeon-bok

On the May 9 episode of KBS 2TV’s hit food-travel series Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, acclaimed Chinese cuisine master Lee Yeon-bok joins forces with Monsta X members Shownu and Joohoney for a once-in-a-lifetime gourmet journey in Türkiye. This special episode showcases their newly formed trio, humorously dubbed “Boksta X,” as they explore the exquisite tastes of Turkish cuisine at the official invitation of the Turkish government.

The trio starts their adventure dressed in sharp suits, strolling through the vibrant streets of Türkiye before heading to an iconic traditional restaurant with over 80 years of history. The restaurant, known for hosting foreign dignitaries, pulls out all the stops to welcome the K-stars. They are treated to an authentic dining experience, sampling traditional dishes and visiting state-of-the-art aging refrigerators and culinary prep stations.

Viewers are in for a treat as Shownu displays a bold and passionate mukbang style, while Joohoney adds a dose of charm with his signature poses while eating. Chef Lee, in a touching moment during the program, even offers a heartfelt gift to the restaurant, symbolizing the cultural and culinary bridge between Korea and Türkiye.
