Meet the Ghost-Seeing Labor Attorney Ready to Shake Up Korean TV: Jung Kyung-ho Leads MBC’s New Fantasy Drama

Live character posters reveal Jung Kyung ho Seol In ah and Cha Hak yeon in new MBC drama

MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ (노무사 노무진), set to premiere on May 30 at 9:50 PM KST, is bringing a refreshing blend of comedy, fantasy, and social commentary to Korean prime-time TV. Leading this bold venture is Jung Kyung-ho, alongside Seol In-ah and Cha Hak-yeon (also known as N), in a supernatural yet socially grounded story that centers around workplace justice — with ghosts.

The series follows Noh Moo-jin, a down-on-his-luck labor attorney who suddenly gains the ability to see ghosts. These spirits come to him with unresolved workplace issues that they couldn’t fix while alive. As Noh Moo-jin works to grant them justice, he teams up with the fearless and strategic Na Hee-joo (played by Seol In-ah), and the quirky ex-journalist-turned-YouTuber Go Kyun-woo (Cha Hak-yeon). Together, they form ‘Moojins’, a squad solving labor problems one afterlife at a time—live on social media.

The LIVE character posters released recently depict each of the central trio in vibrant, expressive styles, hinting at the rich characterization and comedic flair to come. Jung Kyung-ho’s poster as Moo-jin highlights his ghost-seeing woes with captions like “No! None!” and viewers mockingly commenting “No luck, no money.” Seol In-ah’s poster channels a fierce, get-things-done energy, described as the “Mala-flavored queen hitting bad guys.” Meanwhile, Cha Hak-yeon’s Go Kyun-woo beams with influencer-vibes, ready to monetize ghost stories for views on his online channel.

This offbeat workplace thriller is backed by an A-list creative team: Director Im Soon-rye, known for acclaimed films like ‘Our Best Time Forever’ and ‘Little Forest’, collaborates with scriptwriters Kim Bo-tong of Netflix’s ‘D.P.’ and Yoo Seung-hee of ‘I Can Speak’. The synergy of sharp storytelling with fantastical elements offers a promising narrative that both entertains and critiques labor issues in modern society.

‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ premieres exclusively on MBC on May 30. Viewers can expect a rollercoaster of laughs, sobering truths, and unexpected heart from the ghostly gig economy the series portrays.
