MBC (Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation) is set to premiere its new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ on May 30 at 9:50 PM KST. This bold new series delivers a lively spin on the legal drama genre, blending elements of comedy, fantasy, and social commentary.

At the heart of the story is Noh Moo-jin, a labor attorney played by Jung Kyung-ho, who doesn’t just deal with labor law—he sees ghosts. Tasked with navigating the morally murky world of workplace injustice, Noh Moo-jin teams up with a hot-headed but loyal sister-in-law, Na Hee-joo (played by Seol In-ah), and an eccentric video creator Go Kyun-woo (played by Cha Hak-yeon). Together, this unlikely group—dubbed the ‘Moo-jins’—takes on illegal labor practices and exposes corruption in thrilling undercover missions.

Released still cuts give fans a taste of the action, showing the team as they infiltrate factories to uncover law-breaking employers. Noh Moo-jin scans his surroundings with hawk-like precision, Na Hee-joo applies the pressure, and Go Kyun-woo manages the hype and stealth. Their dynamic not only tackles real societal issues but also injects a strong dose of humor and camaraderie.

Behind the scenes, the actors’ chemistry is palpable. Jung Kyung-ho proudly stated the team has ‘ideal synergy,’ while Seol In-ah praised her co-stars as pillars of strength. Cha Hak-yeon shared that building their bond prior to filming helped enhance their group dynamic on screen.

The show is directed by Im Soon-rye, known for her socially aware storytelling, and co-written by Kim Botong and Yoo Seung-hee. With its unique concept and socially impactful narrative, ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ promises to be one of Korea’s most talked-about dramas of the year.
