The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) has announced that the focus of its annual special exhibition will be the illustrious Korean actor, Lee Byung-hun. Aptly titled ‘The Master: Lee Byung-hun’, this exhibition celebrates his versatile career across diverse genres.

A Cinematic Journey

Lee Byung-hun will grace BIFAN from July 4th to 13th, engaging with fans through screenings of his landmark films, a photography and memorabilia exhibit, press conferences, and more. His expected appearance on the opening red carpet is already generating buzz.

Awards and Recognition

Notably, Lee has received prestigious accolades such as the Order of Cultural Merit – Presidential Commendation and multiple awards across Korea’s leading ceremonies like the Grand Bell Awards and Blue Dragon Film Awards. Internationally, he was honored with the Chevalier of the French Order of Arts and Letters in 2006 and the Asia Pacific Screen Award for Best Actor in 2021.
