Among the original singers to grace the stage again was Solji of the idol group EXID, who was the inaugural champion of the show. Her performance in the opening act captured the hearts of many.

Comedian Shin Bong-sun, affectionately dubbed the ‘Queen of the Studio’, shared a similar sentiment. “Today is a truly memorable day. I have seen the creation of legendary viral moments over the ten years of King of Mask Singer. Knowing that many found joy in those moments is immensely gratifying. It seems only yesterday that I was commenting on the mask names at the first recording, and now a whole decade has passed.”

The heartfelt words of panelist Lee Yoon-suk also resonated. “My son and this show are the same age. If King of Mask Singer continues for just six more years, up through my son’s high school years, it would be wonderful,” he joked, inducing laughter among those present.
