Love Sparks and a Surprise Cohabitation Proposal in ‘Divorce Insurance’

The latest episode of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama Divorce Insurance aired on the 15th and delivered an emotionally charged storyline that’s stirring viewers’ hearts across Korea and abroad. Episode 6 featured a dramatic face-off among the main quartet—Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-bin, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Da-hee—where sparks flew in more ways than one.

In one of the episode’s pivotal scenes, Ahn Jeon-man (played by Lee Kwang-soo) confides in Noh Gi-joon (Lee Dong-wook) about his complicated feelings for his ex-wife Jeon Na-rae (Lee Da-hee). Gi-joon, acting more like a friend than an ex-husband, encourages Ahn to explore the connection rather than suppress it.

Meanwhile, Kang Han-deul (Lee Joo-bin) and Jeon Na-rae engage in a candid heart-to-heart. The exchange exposes their contrasting approach to life and love. When Han-deul declares she’ll continue knitting—a metaphor for her emotional investment—she subtly declares her interest in Gi-joon, who favors the color green.

The budding chemistry between Han-deul and Gi-joon reaches a pinnacle when they find themselves in front of an old shop. Han-deul leaves a touching message in a broken public phone, meant for her future self. Gi-joon lifts the receiver and says, “Remember today,” leaving Han-deul visibly moved.

In the episode’s climax, Gi-joon proposes an unexpected yet heart-fluttering idea. After recalling Han-deul’s lonely Christmases, he suggests, “Why don’t you move into my house?” This marks a potential turning point for the two characters, who started as mere neighbors but now hint at a shared future.

Simultaneously, the relationship between Ahn Jeon-man and Jeon Na-rae also begins to thaw. Jeon-man steps in to shield Na-rae from skepticism and even helps her make a discreet exit from an awkward wedding reception. Na-rae, touched by his subtle care, gives his hotel a five-star rating on her way out, leaving Jeon-man smiling and hinting at renewed possibilities.

Divorce Insurance continues to air every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM KST, capturing hearts with its layered storytelling, complex emotions, and evolving relationships.
