Lim Young-woong and Lee Hae-ri deliver emotional performance of Now Believe in Me on Love Call Center

South Korean ballad sensation Lim Young-woong and vocal powerhouse Lee Hae-ri of Davichi have once again captivated fans with their emotional duet performance. Their rendition of ‘Now Believe in Me’ has surpassed 5 million views as of the morning of the 5th, becoming a viral sensation.

The duet was performed on TV Chosun’s hit program Love Call Center, where the two stars made magic on stage. The song, originally composed by Jo Young-soo with lyrics by Kim Ina, was the prize track awarded to Lim Young-woong following his victory on the popular survival show Mr. Trot in 2020.

While Lim Young-woong’s solo version won hearts at the time, this duet brought a fresh dimension to the beloved ballad. The chemistry between the two artists added emotional depth to the performance, with their alternating lead vocals and perfectly synchronized harmonies creating a compelling sonic narrative.

A particularly heartwarming moment came during the show as host Kim Sung-joo revealed that Lim had once harbored a crush on Lee Hae-ri. As Lim pulled out his phone to show her name saved in his notes app, Lee beamed with joy, proclaiming, “I’ll keep this as a treasure.” This revelation added an unexpected layer to the already poetic duet.

Lee Hae-ri, who debuted alongside Kang Min-kyung in 2008 as part of the beloved female duo Davichi, is widely praised for her emotive vocal style and skillful delivery of harmonies, making her presence in this duet performance irreplaceable.

With this duet trending across platforms and touching the hearts of millions, ‘Now Believe in Me’ proves once again why Lim Young-woong and Lee Hae-ri continue to be respected figures in the ballad and live performance scene.
