Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, and EXO’s D.O. Reunite for New Season of Cult Farming Reality Show

Lee Kwangsoo and EXOs DO team up for a new season of popular Korean farming variety show

Fans of wholesome reality programming have reason to celebrate—the beloved farming series ‘As You Sow, So Shall You Reap’ is making a comeback. According to production company Egg Is Coming, the show is currently developing a new season continuing the relatable and grounded charm that propelled earlier editions ‘As You Sow, So Shall You Reap’ and its spin-off ‘As You Sow, So Shall You Gain Strength from Eating’ into cult favorites.

The series stars a stellar cast of Korean celebrities, including Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, Do Kyung-soo (a.k.a. EXO’s D.O.), and Kim Ki-bang. These four real-life friends, with zero agricultural experience, captured viewers’ hearts as rookie farmers tilling land in Gangwon Province’s Inje region. Their endearing journey to harvest crops like potatoes and watermelons resonated with audiences, contributing to solid ratings with an average viewership of around 4% and peaking at 5%.

In January, the show expanded its universe with the spin-off program ‘As You Sow, So Shall You Gain Strength from Eating’, affectionately dubbed ‘KongKongBapBap.’ In this season, Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo ran a workplace cafeteria under the guidance of Na Young-seok’s creative direction, serving over 200 meals and utilizing 140kg of potatoes, earning praise from staff and viewers alike.

After reaching their culinary goals, the duo was granted a special production request, which may suggest international filming in Vietnam—a hint dropped during internal brainstorming sessions.

Set to be produced within the year, the new season has sparked anticipation among fans curious to see what comes next. Will it return to agricultural roots, continue culinary experiments, or mix in something new entirely? One thing’s for sure: with this cast and production team, it’s bound to be another heartwarming hit.
