Lee Hyori Breaks Down at Kim Jong-min’s Wedding Over Emotional Performance by Lee Juck
In the latest episode of Channel A’s variety show ‘The Recent Man’s Life: Groom Class’, aired on June 7, newlywed Kim Jong-min looked back on his unforgettable wedding day.
During a heartwarming conversation with Shiny, Kim reminisced about the best part of the ceremony: the live performances. He expressed profound gratitude to singers Lee Juck and Lyn, who gifted the couple with touching wedding songs.
Shiny chimed in with a surprising revelation, saying, “Lee Hyori cried so much while Lee Juck was performing.” Kim confirmed her emotional reaction, adding, “Hyori cried her heart out.”
The wedding was full of unforgettable behind-the-scenes moments. Shiny recalled a hilarious comment from Yoo Jae-suk: “He joked that Lee Juck puts more effort into wedding serenades than his own concerts!”
However, the ultimate performance, at least in the eyes of Kim’s wife, belonged to none other than TVXQ. Kim revealed that his wife is a longtime member of Cassiopeia, the official fan club of TVXQ.
Comedian Shim Jin-hwa, who attended the wedding, added, “Both members of TVXQ flew in from Japan just for the ceremony. They performed and went straight back the next day. Now that’s loyalty.”
Kim also shared a cute anecdote: “As soon as TVXQ started singing, my wife suddenly let go of my hand. I was so shocked, it made me laugh!”
Kim Jong-min tied the knot on April 20 with a non-celebrity woman 11 years his junior, marking one of the most heartfelt celebrity weddings of the year in Korea.
