Korean Stars Embark on a Taiwanese Adventure

Korea’s renowned artists Kim Ha-neul, Lee Jun-young, and Nam Woo-hyun, represented by Billions, are set to captivate audiences as they take part in the Taiwanese variety show Narrow Mountain Path, Secret Journey (细细山路私密达). This unique program, a collaborative effort between Korean director Jin Moonhwa and Taiwanese director Shendan Kui, promises a blend of cultural experiences and adventure.

The Show’s Unique Concept

The show invites these Korean stars, alongside Taiwanese celebrity Roy Feng and Korean influencer Muscle Sansa, to journey through Taiwan’s longest nature trekking route, the Zhang Yi Se Lu (樟之细路). Over ten immersive days, they will dive into the rich Hakka culture, bringing a blend of entertainment and education to viewers.

A Daily Shared Experience

Each day, the participants engage in evening reflections, sharing and recording their cultural experiences. These moments are designed to foster deep introspection and sincere exchanges, offering both fun and heartfelt moments to viewers.

A Warm Welcome in Taiwan

On October 12, the trio graced the Narrow Mountain Path, Secret Journey production presentation in Taiwan, where they greeted local media and fans eagerly. Expressing their enthusiasm, they shared thoughts like, “We have always wanted to visit Taiwan,” and “Experiencing the landscapes for the first time is exciting.” They anticipate that this venture will not only bring them closer to Taiwanese culture but also introduce diverse Taiwanese traditions to Korean audiences.

A New Bridge for Cultural Exchange

The program serves dual purposes: introducing the younger Taiwanese generation to Hakka culture and offering Koreans a new window into Taiwan’s vibrant cultural tapestry.
