Kim Inseong Steps into the Spotlight with a New Theatrical Role

Renowned Korean musical actor Kim Inseong has been cast as the lead in the upcoming musical Tonight, Even if this Love Disappears from the World (Korean: 오늘 밤, 세계에서 이 사랑이 사라진다 해도), a heart-wrenching love story set to premiere this summer at the COEX Hyundai Card Theatre in Seoul.

A Touching Love Story Born on Stage

Tonight, Even if this Love Disappears from the World, affectionately known as ‘OSEYISA’ in Korea, is based on the bestselling novel of the same name. The story follows Maori Hino, a girl suffering from anterograde amnesia who forgets everything after a night’s sleep, and Toru Kamiya, an ordinary high school student who falls in love with her. Each day is a new beginning—and a potential goodbye.

Kim Inseong will portray the lead role of Toru Kamiya, a passionate teen devoted to creating unforgettable memories for Maori each day. His delicate portrayal aims to evoke both the thrill of first love and the bittersweetness of inevitable loss.

From Stage to Stardom

Kim has steadily built a solid reputation in the musical theatre space with standout roles in productions such as Red Book, Jack the Ripper, Emile, and Darwin Young’s Origin of Evil. Known for his emotional depth and vocal talent, he recently touched audiences in Your Wedding (Korean: 너의 결혼식) with his portrayal of a devoted and lovesick youth.

With Tonight, Even if this Love Disappears from the World, Kim promises to bring an even more mature and emotionally captivating performance. His strong singing and expressive acting are expected to leave a lasting impression on viewers.

The musical kicks off its run on June 13 and continues through August 24 at the COEX Hyundai Card Theatre. Fans and newcomers alike will not want to miss this poignant tale of fleeting love brought beautifully to life on stage.
