Actress Hyunri joins HB Entertainment promising dynamic performances globally

Hyunri, the dynamic actress known for her powerful performances across Korean and international productions, has officially signed an exclusive contract with HB Entertainment, the Korean entertainment powerhouse behind high-profile dramas such as SKY Castle and My Love from the Star.

Hyunri debuted in 2006 and built a respected portfolio with impactful roles in critically acclaimed projects such as Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy and Heaven Is Still Far Away. She also appeared in variety of cross-national productions including Japan’s TBS drama Eye Love You, Fuji TV’s National Assembly Police, TV Tokyo’s Attorney Sodom, and the internationally celebrated Apple TV+ original series Pachinko, where she portrayed the character ‘Kiyo.’

Demonstrating her versatility and depth, Hyunri earned several prestigious recognitions, including the Best New Actress Award at the 29th Takasaki Film Festival in 2015 and the Asia Star Award at the 12th Seoul International Drama Awards in 2017. Her performances have consistently been praised for their emotional weight and authenticity.

Looking ahead, Hyunri will make a special appearance in the upcoming Netflix series Can This Love Be Translated?, set for release later this year. Additionally, she is set to star as the mercenary team leader ‘Cure’ in Season 2 of the Disney+ original Killers’ Shopping Mall, marking a bold new direction in her acting career.
