Korean Actress Bomi Park Honors Late Son Simon on Second Anniversary of His Passing

Korean actress and former comedian Bomi Park commemorated the second anniversary of her son Simon‘s death with a heart-wrenching tribute on social media.

On June 20th, Park wrote on her official SNS, “Today marks the second year since our Simon became an angel. Park Si-mon, you were so brave and amazing. I miss you so much.”

She continued, “A bee suddenly appeared over the ocean, where there are no trees or flowers. Park Si-mon, who often comes to us as a round moon, returned today as a single bee.”

The accompanying photo showed Park standing by the sea, holding a bouquet of flowers in memory of her child.

Park married soccer player Park Yo-han in 2020, and they welcomed their son Simon in 2022. Tragically, Simon passed away in May 2023.

During a past television appearance, Park revealed the harrowing circumstances surrounding her son’s death. “He suddenly developed a fever at dawn, so we rushed to the emergency room. While in my arms, he began convulsing and gradually lost strength,” she recounted. “We hurried to the nearest fire station and performed CPR, but his heart no longer beat.”
