Korea-Japan Top Ten Show Reigns Tuesdays with Real Name Battle Special

MBN’s hit musical variety show, Korea-Japan Top Ten Show, continues its reign as the No.1 Tuesday entertainment program across terrestrial, general, and cable TV in South Korea. According to Nielsen Korea, the episode aired on the 20th recorded a 6.1% peak viewership rate and a nationwide average of 5.4%, marking the show’s ninth consecutive week at the top.

This week’s 50th episode dropped a show-stopping concept titled Real Name King Battle, dividing members into the Nickname Team and Real Name Team, igniting fierce, fun, and emotional on-stage battles. Led by Park Seo-jin, who performed under his stage name Park Hyo-bin, the Nickname Team ultimately claimed victory, despite Park Seo-jin confessing he almost faced bankruptcy after losing a prior match to Jeon Yu-jin.

The special featured powerful appearances by Jin Hae-sung, Enoch, Choi Su-ho, Jae-ha, Mai Jin, Lyn, and Byeol Sarang for the Nickname Team, and Shin Seung-tae, Kang Moon-kyung, Kim Da-hyun, Azuma Aki, Kang Hye-yeon, Hong Ji-yoon, and Lee Soo-yeon for the Real Name Team. Comedic flair was added when Jeon Yu-jin adopted the temporary stage name “Jeonjjaeni.”

In individual and team battles, Byeol Sarang triumphed over Shin Seung-tae in a movie OST showdown, while Hong Ji-yoon defeated Lyn and Jin Hae-sung in a duet pairing. Dancing took center stage when Jae-ha performed a Bruce Lee-inspired routine to topple Jeon Yu-jin in a dance revenge battle.
