Korea Grand Music Awards Returns for a Star-Studded Second Year at Inspire Arena

Korea Grand Music Awards will spotlight the best in Kpop at Inspire Arena this November

The Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA), co-hosted by Ilgan Sports and the KGMA Organizing Committee, is returning for its highly anticipated second edition. The two-day event will be held on November 14 and 15 at the Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.

Following the successful inaugural event in 2023 themed ‘The Birth of the Galaxy,’ which featured electric performances by 32 artists, the second KGMA aims to continue honoring the undeniable impact of K-pop and trot music. The 2023 edition saw MC appearances from NewJeans’ Hanni and actress Nam Ji Hyun on the first day, while aespa’s Winter and Nam Ji Hyun co-hosted the second night. Top groups including aespa, NewJeans, DAY6, (G)I-DLE, ATEEZ, and ZEROBASEONE took home the prestigious 2024 Grand Trophies.

This year’s KGMA will recognize artists and songs that made significant strides in the music industry over the past year, both domestically and globally. Recognized for its dedication to fairness and transparency, the awards will draw from expert panel evaluations, digital music and album sales data, and votes from fans via the FanCast mobile app.

The KGMA is not merely an awards ceremony—it’s a cultural celebration uniting artists and fans in shared appreciation for music. It will also serve as a stage for legendary K-pop figures and emerging talents, bridging the past, present, and future of the genre.

The official artist lineup, award categories, and judging metrics will be announced progressively on the official KGMA website and the FanCast app. Stay tuned for what promises to be another unforgettable music spectacle this November.
