KM Chart Unveils 2025 Season Best Spring Final Winners
The global K-pop standard chart, KM Chart, has officially revealed the final winners for the ‘2025 KM Chart Season Best Spring’. The announcement aired via a live stream on KM Chart’s official YouTube channel at 6:30 PM KST on May 23, spotlighting the most beloved artists and songs from the first quarter of 2025.
Spanning seven fiercely competitive categories, this season’s KM Chart included both established idol groups and rising stars. Notably intense interest was drawn in categories such as ‘BEST K-MUSIC’ and ‘BEST K-MUSIC ARTIST’, as industry heavyweights like G-Dragon, BTS, Monsta X, Tomorrow X Together, IVE, and Plave were among top contenders.
The ‘BEST K-MUSIC’ category featured 20 nominees, including G-Dragon’s double entries ‘HOME SWEET HOME’ and ‘POWER’, along with Plave’s ‘Dash’, Boy Next Door’s ‘I LOVE YOU Only Today’, and V’s (BTS) ‘Slow Dancing’. Ballads such as Young Tak’s ‘SuperSuper’, Lee Chan-won’s ‘Sky Journey’, and Lim Young-woong’s ‘Warmth’ also made the cut, showcasing a balance of genres and fan-driven voting.
In the highly watched ‘BEST K-MUSIC ARTIST’ section, prominent figures like V, Jennie, Rosé, Plave, IVE, Aespa, and TXT competed for the coveted title. The chart’s ‘BEST HOT CHOICE’ saw separate male and female divisions, with acts like Wooseok, B.A.P, Kang Daniel, Dreamcatcher, LE SSERAFIM, and Minni grabbing the spotlight.
The ‘BEST ROOKIE’ categories honored emerging talents, presenting contenders such as N.SIGN, RIIZE, Boy Next Door, Babymonster, BLACKSWAN, and Billlie. Meanwhile, the special category, ‘BEST SOLO’, celebrated individual achievements with nominees like J-Hope, Baekhyun, Xiumin, Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, Yezi, TEN, Suzy, Kwon Eun-bi, and Chungha.
This year’s selection process reinforced objectivity by combining KM Chart’s in-house data scores, expert judges’ assessments, and global fan preference surveys—cementing its role as a definitive source in the K-pop ecosystem.
As awards were presented across seven categories, one thing remains clear: in the dynamic world of K-pop, the KM Chart continues to reflect international influence, fan dedication, and genre diversity with acclaim.
