Fans of Kim Seon ho donate to disaster relief in honor of the actor’s birthday

In a heartfelt gesture of compassion, fans of South Korean actor Kim Seon-ho have come together to support victims of recent wildfires devastating parts of the country.

On May 30, the fan club Seonhohada donated 10 million Korean Won (approximately $7,400 USD) to assist wildfire survivors through a disaster relief initiative ahead of Kim Seon-ho’s birthday, which falls on May 8. Though the donation was made without fanfare, the impact is already resonating across communities and the fandom alike.

In an official statement, the fan club said, “We wanted to present a meaningful gift in honor of Kim Seon-ho’s birthday. We hope this donation offers strength and encouragement to those affected, helping them return to their daily lives as soon as possible.”

This is not the first time Seonhohada has stepped up for a cause in the name of their favorite star. The fan community has a history of consistent philanthropic efforts, particularly under Kim Seon-ho’s name, ensuring that their support reaches the most vulnerable in times of crisis.

A representative from the disaster relief organization expressed deep gratitude: “The fans’ warmth and love for the actor will undoubtedly bring solace to the wildfire victims. We are committed to ensuring all donations contribute directly to recovery and rehabilitation efforts.”

Since March, after the wildfires hit, over 450,000 emergency items have been distributed, along with essential services such as medical assistance, laundry support in temporary shelters, and meal provision for firefighters and forest firefighting crews.

Kim Seon-ho is best known internationally for his roles in K-dramas such as Start-Up and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. His growing global fanbase has become notable not only for its passion but for its dedication to making a difference in his name.
