Kim Min-seok is back and ready to rumble in the latest installment of TVING’s adrenaline-pumping franchise, ‘Shark: The Storm’. The series is a sequel to the 2021 smash hit ‘Shark: The Beginning’, a TVING Original film that captivated audiences with its raw emotion and intense action, based on a legendary webtoon.
Now reimagined as a six-episode action survival series, ‘Shark: The Storm’ revives the story of Cha Woo-sol — portrayed by Kim Min-seok — who is determined to leave his dark past behind and transform into a professional MMA fighter. But peace is short-lived.
Cha Woo-sol’s journey toward redemption is thrown into chaos when he faces off against the merciless villain Hyun Woo-yong, played by Lee Hyun-wook. The series teases high-octane battles that push Woo-sol beyond his physical and emotional limits as he risks everything to protect those he holds dear.
