KDrama Star Lee Sang Yi Signs Exclusive Contract with Chorokbaem Entertainment
South Korean actor Lee Sang Yi has officially signed an exclusive contract with Chorokbaem Entertainment, the agency confirmed on June 8. Known for his diverse acting skills and versatility in both television and musical theater, Lee’s addition to the agency marks a new chapter in his expanding career.
According to Chorokbaem Entertainment, “We’ve greatly admired Lee Sang Yi’s solid acting, irreplaceable character portrayal, and his multi-talented presence spanning acting, variety shows, and music. We actively pursued a partnership with him.”
Lee Sang Yi began his career on stage, performing in plays and musicals, before moving into television. He gained recognition through popular dramas such as Prison Playbook (also known as Wise Prison Life), Once Again, Youth of May, and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. His more recent works include Bloodhounds, My Demon, Not Even Lose a Penny, and The Boss’s Diet Plan, further cementing his reputation as an actor comfortable across genres and formats.
Looking forward, the agency confirmed that Lee is set to appear in two anticipated 2025 projects: ‘Good Boy’ and ‘Bloodhounds 2’. These projects are expected to build further momentum for his already stellar resume.
