The winner of the battle was the Do-ga-ni Yukgaejang, an ox knee soup meticulously crafted and simmered for over five hours. Rich in flavor from beef marrow and finished with stir-fried bean sprouts and a robustly spicy sauce, the dish captured the sophisticated palates of the show’s judges. Celebrity chefs praised the depth and authenticity of the broth, calling it “restaurant quality in every sense.”
Following this victory, the winning menu will be released as a ready-to-eat home meal product through prominent Korean food company Ourhome, allowing audiences to savor the taste at home.
The emotional episode also showcased the heartfelt story of an actor who expressed love to his kidney transplant recipient father on air for the first time, and another actress who disclosed challenges she faced while navigating her acting career.
