KATSEYE’s ‘Gnarly’ Reaches New Heights on Billboard and Spotify Charts

Global girl group KATSEYE, formed through the collaboration between HYBE Corporation and Geffen Records, is making waves across top international charts with their digital single ‘Gnarly’.

According to the latest update from Billboard on May 20 (local time), ‘Gnarly’ climbed to No. 31 on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. US chart and No. 46 on the Billboard Global 200. This marks a significant weekly rise of 8 and 1 positions respectively.

The track previously made an impressive debut at No. 92 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of May 17, a critical milestone for the rookie girl group. In the UK, ‘Gnarly’ entered the Official Singles Chart Top 100 at No. 52 and has proven its staying power by maintaining its position on the chart for two consecutive weeks.

KATSEYE is also achieving strong performance metrics on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. On the Spotify Daily Top Songs Global chart dated May 19, the group climbed four spots to No. 45. Meanwhile, during the week of May 9–15, ‘Gnarly’ reached No. 46 on the Spotify Weekly Top Songs Global, surpassing the success of their previous single, ‘Touch’.

‘Gnarly”s experimental sound and bold choreography are fueling anticipation for the sextet’s second EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’, slated for release on June 27. Speaking about the upcoming release, KATSEYE stated, “This album shows most clearly who we are as a group and the direction we are heading.”
