Kang described ‘Episode’ by saying: “Think of it as a musical ‘bibimbap’ – a fusion of Latin rhythms, European melodies, and ocean sounds mixed together.”
The singer-songwriter was deeply involved in the creative process, emphasizing his role in the lyrics. “I pondered extensively on how to convey the exhilarating emotions of falling in love. When you’re truly in love, nothing else matters,” he explained, sharing his lyric-writing experiences.

The choreography for ‘Episode’ is equally captivating. Collaborating with choreographers Choi Young-joon and Auspicious, Kang wished for a performance reminiscent of a musical. “While the movements might be straightforward, no section repeats, making it quite challenging,” he noted.
He further added, “Most songs have a signature dance move in the chorus, but ‘Episode’ is different. I wanted it to feel like a musical, and I believe they truly captured that essence.”
