K-Travel Meets K-Romance: MeloMance Joins ‘Let’s Meet Now’

Korean indie duo MeloMance adds heartfelt music and flavor to Lets Meet Now travel series

‘Let’s Meet Now’, the latest travel reality sensation from Channel S and produced by SK Broadband, is rewriting the K-travel playbook with a twist of K-romance. In its second episode airing on Thursday at 9:20 PM KST, the show promises unforgettable chemistry between travel mates and foreign friends, blending local exploration with potential sparks of romance.

The newest highlight? Special guest appearance by MeloMance, the beloved Korean indie pop duo, who not only serenaded the viewers with a new song, ‘Surprise of Any Day’, but also joined the cast in exploring exotic locales like Taiwan and Merida, Mexico.

Episode 2 features actor Kim Gwang-tae, known for ‘Transit Love 3’, on a flirty food adventure with his Taiwanese companion, Saiseon. Their journey through Danshui includes cinematic moments at local scenic spots like Hongmao Castle and the iconic sunset at Paris (a popular photo spot in Taiwan, not the French capital). Meanwhile, entertainer Yoo Jae-suk, dubbed a ‘spontaneous travel creator’, embarks on a picturesque search for friendship and romance in Merida, Mexico, even diving into crystal-clear waters at a Cenote.

Joining the romantic journey, MeloMance’s Kim Min-seok reveals he prefers being guided on trips—sparking bromantic tension when Kim Gwang-tae offers to be his travel leader. Their foodie passion creates a ‘taste buddy’ bond as they watch local food tours unfold, predicting flavors with mouth-watering anticipation.

As Yoo In-na, the show’s MC, holds back tears during MeloMance’s live piano-accompanied performance, it’s clear why this show is gaining traction: it’s raw, real, romantic—and rich in sensory experience. ‘Let’s Meet Now’ taps into the power of travel, music, and human connection, all blended under twinkling lights and picturesque destinations.

Catch new episodes of ‘Let’s Meet Now’ every Thursday, 9:20 PM KST via Channel S. Accessible on SK Broadband’s B tv (Channel 01), KT Genie TV (Channel 44), and LG U+TV (Channel 61).
