K-pop’s New Generation: xikers Soar on Billboard Charts with ‘HOUSE OF TRICKY : SPUR’
South Korea’s rising K-pop group xikers is proving it’s more than just a local sensation, landing on multiple positions across the Billboard charts with their 5th mini album “HOUSE OF TRICKY : SPUR.” According to Billboard’s April 15 chart data, the album debuted at No. 3 on the World Albums chart, No. 4 on Emerging Artists, No. 6 on Top Current Album Sales, No. 8 on Top Album Sales, No. 33 on Independent Albums, and ranked No. 50 on the Billboard Artists chart.
This marks a significant jump from the group’s previous release, “HOUSE OF TRICKY : WATCH OUT,” which recorded No. 1 on the Emerging Artists chart and peaked at No. 6 on the World Albums chart. The latest rankings reflect an unmistakable surge in xikers’ international influence and solidify their status as one of K-pop’s most dynamic 5th generation performers.
The album’s success wasn’t confined to the U.S. On April 8, it ranked No. 5 on Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Chart. It also dominated across iTunes Top Albums in 14 countries, clinching the No.1 spot in Malaysia, Oman, and Poland. Domestically, the album topped real-time and daily album sales charts on Hanteo Chart and reached No. 1 on the Circle Chart’s real-time retail album rankings. Impressively, every track from the mini-album entered Korea’s weekly download chart, showcasing their widespread appeal.
Search data from Google Trends also showed skyrocketing interest in xikers from fans around the world, with notable spikes in search traffic from South Korea, the United States, Singapore, Myanmar, Finland, Portugal, Malaysia, and Japan — signaling their growing global reach.
Fueled by global fan support, xikers is set to launch their 2025 world tour titled “Road to XY: Enter the Gate” on May 3 at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul. The tour will continue through six major cities including New York, Rosemont, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, and Tokyo — a powerful move to capitalize on their rising international demand.
Meanwhile, the group continues active third-week promotions of their title track “BREATHE”, heightening anticipation for what’s next from K-pop’s next global breakout stars.
