K-pop Super Rookie KickFlip Gears Up for Bold Comeback with ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’
JYP Entertainment’s next-generation boy group KickFlip is back in the spotlight as they unveil their first concept photos for the upcoming second mini album ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’. The group is set to release the album along with its lead single ‘FREEZE’ on May 26, marking their highly anticipated first comeback since debut.
With a playful and witty tone, JYP has been building anticipation through a well-orchestrated promotional rollout. From a dynamic album trailer to a detailed scheduler and a tracklist handwritten by the members themselves, KickFlip is generating buzz across K-pop communities worldwide.
On May 7 at midnight KST, the group’s official social media channels revealed individual concept photos of members Gyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyun. Dressed in neat school uniforms, the boys radiate a charming high-teen vibe, showing a drastic shift from their free-spirited image seen during their debut promotions for ‘Flip it, Kick it!’.
The new album ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’ isn’t just a sequel — it’s a statement. Packed with youthful energy and bold ambitions, the album represents KickFlip’s desire to break the mold and flip the game. The project features seven tracks including the title song ‘FREEZE’, as well as ‘Let’s Skip It’, ‘Someday the Sun Will Explode’, ‘Electricity’, ‘Complicated!!’, ‘Code Red’, and ‘How We KickFlip’.
Group members Gyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Minje, and Donghyun actively contributed to writing and composing songs for this release, emphasizing the group’s unique identity and raw potential as K-pop’s new super rookies.
KickFlip will officially return to the stage on May 26 at 6 PM KST with the digital drop of ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’ and title track ‘FREEZE’. The celebration continues later that day with a comeback showcase at 8 PM KST, giving fans a first glimpse at the group’s fresh concept and performance energy.
