South Korean solo sensation Lim Young-woong has once again solidified his status as a music powerhouse by surpassing 11.6 billion cumulative streams on Korea’s leading music platform, Melon.

As of April 27, Lim’s total Melon streams reached an astonishing 11,615,370,000 plays. Demonstrating his immense popularity, it took him just 21 days after reaching 11.5 billion streams on April 6 to amass another 100 million streams.

Back in January 2023, Lim had been inducted into Melon’s prestigious ‘Gold Club’ for surpassing 5 billion streams. His rapid rise continued, and by June 18 of the same year, he exceeded 10 billion streams, earning him a spot in the elite ‘Diamond Club,’ placing him alongside global superstars like BTS.

Lim Young-woong now holds the record as the top solo artist in terms of Melon streaming numbers, further cementing his legendary status.
