K-pop soloist Kim Jae Hwan is receiving special birthday honors through the fan-voting platform IdolPick. On May 27th, the artist was chosen as the top birthday nominee for May in a special event organized by IdolPick, a popular web and mobile service that allows fans to vote for their favorite stars.

The voting took place from April 7 to April 16, with fans pushing Kim to impressive milestones. Amassing 42,410 votes, he surpassed the 40,000-vote benchmark, qualifying him for a special set of perks. The event offered escalating rewards for voting totals: 40,000 votes guaranteed popup celebratory banners and one day of outdoor billboard support, while 100,000 votes would extend the station advertisement to three full days. The grand prize for the top-ranked artist included a week-long advertisement on a large outdoor LED screen in Myeongdong, one of Seoul’s busiest shopping districts.
