K-Pop Star Choi Ye-na Proves Global Ticket Power with Taipei Concert Sell-Out
South Korean singer Choi Ye-na has once again proved her global popularity by selling out her solo concert in Taipei. Her agency revealed on the 24th that all tickets for ‘네모로부터 시작하는 이세계! 여행 in Taipei,’ her first solo concert in Taiwan, were snapped up just one day after they went on sale.
The tour, titled “네모로부터 시작하는 이세계! 여행,” marks Choi Ye-na’s first-ever solo concert tour since her debut. After successful performances in Seoul, Osaka, Tokyo, and Macau, the momentum carried into Taipei with an enthusiastic response from local fans.
Following the ticket sellouts in Japan, the rapid demand in Taiwan underscores her growing fanbase and rising global influence. Known for her hip and kitschy style, Choi Ye-na has become a defining icon for Gen Z with her addictive music, energetic performances, and distinct identity as a solo female K-pop artist.
Beyond music, she has been showcasing her multifaceted talent by appearing in dramas and variety shows. She currently stars as the lead character Gu Won-hee in the KBS 2TV comedy sitcom 빌런의 나라 (‘Villain’s Nation’), adding yet another dimension to her thriving career.
This global momentum is set to continue as Choi Ye-na is also confirmed to appear at KCON JAPAN 2025, which will be held from May 9 to 11 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
Meanwhile, the Taipei leg of her tour will be held at Legacy Terra in Taipei on May 24, marking another milestone in her expanding international journey.
