K-pop Sensation ILLIT Unveils Tracklist for Mini Album ‘Bomb’

ILLIT reveals third mini album Bomb featuring title track Borrowed Cat and unique Bside tracks

Rising K-pop girl group ILLIT has officially revealed the tracklist for their much-anticipated third mini album, ‘Bomb’, set to release on July 16 at 6 PM KST. The album features five diverse tracks, with ‘Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)’ as the lead single, accompanied by ‘Little Monster’, ‘Jellyous’, ‘Oops!’, and ‘Night Picnic’.

To give fans a sneak peek, ILLIT dropped a highlight medley video, showcasing snippets of all B-side tracks. The preview included melodic hooks, sample lyrics, and the group members’ distinct vocal charms. The artistry of the video particularly shined in its natural vibe—members are seen singing while riding bikes, snapping candid shots, and stargazing, bringing an intimate charm to their persona.

Each track contributes a unique sonic flavor to the album. ‘Little Monster’ captivates listeners with its minimalist vibe and vintage overtones, driven by a powerful hook. ‘Jellyous’ quickly grabs attention with its fast-paced rhythm and catchy beat, while ‘Oops!’ energizes with an uplifting chorus twist. Meanwhile, ‘Night Picnic’ dives into Lo-fi Pop territory, delivering a mellow picnic-inspired aesthetic.

On June 23, the group will release a snippet of the title track ‘Borrowed Cat’, a rare move that underscores ILLIT’s bold promotion strategy and their confidence in musical storytelling. ‘Bomb’ is described as a narrative journey of the group expanding their worldview through emotional exchanges with ‘you’, inviting fans to grow with their evolving identity.

With each release, ILLIT continues to push boundaries, ushering in a sound that is both sophisticated and sincerely playful. ‘Bomb’ is set to be a powerful chapter in their rising career.
