K-Pop Rising Star Gyubin Shines at Her First Solo Fan-Con in Macau
Korean singer-songwriter Gyubin delivered a powerful message of love and musical artistry during her debut solo fan concert, ‘GYUBIN 1ST FAN-CON <FLOWERING> IN MACAU’, held on April 10 at the Macau Galaxy Resort. Drawing more than 500 passionate fans, the show marked a significant milestone in Gyubin’s rapidly ascending global career.
Held within the renowned G Box, the concert’s setlist featured 17 tracks, including signature hits like debut song “Really Like You”, “Satellite”, and the title track “LIKE U 100” from her February-released debut mini-album ‘Flowering.’ Gyubin also performed her first OST “Day by Day”, showcasing both her emotional depth and artistic range.
The night’s special highlight was a Mandarin cover of Jay Chou’s “Confession Balloon (告白氣球)”, specially prepared for her Macau fans. The performance was met with explosive applause, further reinforcing Gyubin’s impressive multilingual capabilities and international fan appeal.
Gyubin didn’t stop there. She surprised fans, affectionately known as “Really”, with an unreleased self-written fan song and a unique acoustic K-pop medley performed with her own guitar arrangement. A notable cover of Rosé’s “A.P.T” added her own stylistic flair, earning thunderous cheers and heartfelt praise from the audience.
Connecting with fans offstage as well, Gyubin hosted several fan-participation segments including high-touch and photo sessions, creating unforgettable memories. During emotionally charged stages, she was seen tearing up six times, showing her raw authenticity and deep gratitude. Further touching moments came from Macau fans themselves, who celebrated the concert with a surprise by filling large LED billboards across the city with Gyubin’s image.
Following the event, Gyubin took to her official social media to thank fans in a heartfelt message: “There’s only one first meeting in the world. The eyes that sparkled toward each other, the warmth of the air, the stage where lights fell. Thank you, Really, for laughing and crying with me. I’m so happy it was you. I love you, Really.”
With this successful fan-con in her pocket, Gyubin is set to embark on a festival circuit, starting with a performance at Hansei University on April 13. She will also perform at volleyball legend Kim Yeon-koung’s retirement ceremony, ‘KYK Invitational 2025’, as a special guest.
Gyubin has also been invited as the sole Korean artist to perform at Japan’s large-scale ‘Nagaoka Kome Festival 2025’ on May 24, known for its spectacular fireworks display. Her global tour continues with upcoming fan-cons in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other major Asian cities, establishing her as one of K-pop’s most promising rising global stars.
