South Korea’s chart-topping music show King of Active Singers 2, known locally as ‘현역가왕2’, is taking its explosive success on a national tour. Fresh off a historic Seoul concert that saw massive fanfare and mesmerizing performances, the tour heads to Busan on May 3—and with it comes a long-awaited surprise: the return of Kim Jun-su to the stage.
Though absent from previous concerts due to prior commitments, Kim Jun-su, known for his unique blend of Korean traditional vocals with trot music, will finally reunite with his fellow TOP7 members: Park Seo-jin, Jin Hae-sung, Enoch, Shin Seung-tae, Choi Soo-ho, and Kang Moon-kyung. The upcoming Busan performance at BEXCO promises to bring the entire lineup together for the first time, offering fans an unforgettable night of genre-blending excellence.
Produced by leading national broadcaster MBN, King of Active Singers 2 captivated Korean audiences across all metrics—claiming #1 rankings across every major channel for 12 consecutive weeks and accumulating nearly 2.5 million real-time SMS votes during its finale. As a result, the show quickly became one of Korea’s most talked-about television phenomena in 2025.
The Seoul concert was held over three sold-out days (April 18–20) at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium and featured magical collaborations and career-defining performances by stars like Hwanhee, Song Min-jun, Jae-ha, and Yoon Jun-hyeop alongside the main cast, dazzling fans with diversity and harmony on stage.
Champion Park Seo-jin, leading the tour with both pride and humility, reflected emotionally on stage: “This is my first time performing a joint concert, and I felt extremely nervous before stepping onto the stage. But with the love and unity among us, I was deeply moved by the sea of lights from the audience. Performing as the reigning champion brought pressure—but also immense gratitude.”
Fan-favorite Jin Hae-sung, now beloved for his humor and growth in variety shows, expressed heartfelt thanks: “I’m not a flashy flower, but you treat me like one. With your love, I’ve grown. This stage belongs as much to the fans as it does to us.”
Enoch, known for his dual charisma and sweetness, added, “Having the honor of performing under the ‘King of Active Singers’ title has been unforgettable. My thanks go to the staff, dancers, and band who brought this dream to life without a hitch.”
