K-Pop Powerhouse IVE Wraps Up Successful Japan Fan Concert Tour
K-pop’s rising global girl group IVE (An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, Leeseo) has completed their highly anticipated Japanese fan concert tour ‘IVE SCOUT’ IN JAPAN with resounding success. The final performance took place on April 30 at K-Arena Yokohama, marking the tour’s conclusion through four cities and 11 shows.
The tour kicked off on April 12–13 in Nagoya, which holds special significance as member Rei’s hometown. It continued through Fukuoka (April 21–22), Kobe (April 25–26), and concluded with a two-day finale in Yokohama. In total, over 100,000 fans attended the concerts, testament to IVE’s growing influence in the Japanese and global music scenes.
This latest tour followed their prior success with their first fan concert ‘The Prom Queens’, which drew 57,000 attendees. This time, the group nearly doubled that figure, reinforcing their expanding global reach just two years after their debut.
IVE debuted several performances in Japan for the first time, including tracks from their third mini album IVE EMPATHY such as the pre-release song ‘Rebel Heart’, title track ‘Attitude’, and the fan-favorite ‘TKO’ and ‘Thank U’. Member Gaeul even took part in choreographing ‘TKO’, adding a deeper layer of artistry and personal touch to the performance.
Classics like ‘ELEVEN (Japanese ver.)’, ‘I AM’, ‘Kitsch’, ‘Love Dive’, and ‘After LIKE’ made up an energetic setlist that resonated with the crowd. The group also surprised fans with original Japanese tracks and special unit stages designed to highlight each member’s unique charisma.
The concert’s interactive segment, ‘DIVE MISSION: Move it, Do it!’, included fan-chosen challenges like dancing, singing, and trending online acts, allowing IVE to showcase their playful and versatile sides. Between performances, the group expressed thanks through meticulously prepared Japanese speeches, forging deeper emotional connections with their audience.
After wrapping up the tour, IVE shared heartfelt messages through Starship Entertainment, stating, “We were truly happy to meet many of our DIVE fans in different regions. Seeing how much joy we could bring gave us even more energy and motivation.” They added, “Thank you for always being with us. We’ll continue striving to show even better sides of ourselves. We love you, DIVE!”
Coming up next, IVE will premiere the sixth season of their self-produced reality content ‘1.2.3 IVE’ starting May 9. The episodes will air every Friday at 7:30 PM KST on the group’s official YouTube channel.
