K-pop Girl Group BURVEY Returns with Whimsical Summer Energy in ‘A E I O U’

Breaking onto the K-pop scene with renewed energy, girl group BURVEY—comprised of Joo Ha, Joo Ah, Yoo Ran, Seo Yoon, and Yoo Yi—is back with dreamy visuals in the teaser for their highly anticipated first EP ‘A E I O U’.

On May 21, the group unveiled the teaser for the title track via their official social media channels, and it quickly captured fans’ attention with its contrasting yet vibrant aesthetic. In one scene, the members are adorned in flowing white dresses with floral crowns, exuding an ethereal charm against a fantastical backdrop. In another, the mood shifts as the group dons street-style outfits under the night sky, showcasing strong charisma and confidence.

The video teaser also offers a glimpse into the group’s playful side, as they enjoy a pajama party scene revealing their youthful, carefree personalities. Accompanying these visuals is a snippet of the soulful track ‘A E I O U’, featuring a retro melody that taps into the emotional groove of the 1960s, revealing BURVEY’s fresh spin on nostalgic pop.

The new title track champions themes of self-expression and freedom—an invitation to live boldly and joyfully. Signature to BURVEY’s style, the song captivates with repetitive lyrics and a high-energy chorus, while legendary K-pop producer Park Sung Ho, also known from the dance group Goofy, adds his signature touch to raise the sonic bar.

BURVEY made waves last year with their pre-debut single ‘Clap’, earning praise for creatively reinterpreting 90s music aesthetics.
