K-Pop Band QWER Shines Bright at KCON JAPAN 2025 With Electrifying Live Stages
Rising K-pop band QWER captured the hearts of global fans during their debut appearance at KCON JAPAN 2025, held on June 10 and 11 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
On June 10, QWER performed at the ARTIST STAGE, kicking off with their refreshing and vibrant track ‘My Name is Malguem’. The band’s signature lively sound swept through the venue, immediately energizing the audience. The following day, they lit up the M COUNTDOWN STAGE, where they showcased a special KCON version of their track ‘T.B.H’, complete with an exclusive intro instrumental.
QWER performed several beloved songs including the Japanese version of their debut single ‘Discord’ and ‘Fake Idol’, connecting with fans on a deeper level. Group members Chodan on drums, Magenta on bass, Hina on guitar, and the powerful vocals of Siyeon created an electrifying ensemble that defined QWER’s unique youth narrative. Their performance fully utilized the 360-degree stage and incorporated their now-signature megaphone effects, amplifying the live concert atmosphere.
The moment that truly left a mark was the premiere of their self-composed track ‘Youth Oath’. Written and composed by all four members, the song reflects their bond and journey together, delivering a heartfelt message: “Let’s move forward together to the place where the light stays.”
Continuing their global journey, QWER is set to hold their first fan concert in Taiwan on June 14 at Zepp New Taipei titled ‘1, 2, QWER! in TAIPEI’. Following the concert, fans can also look forward to QWER’s domestic comeback set for early June.
